Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions:
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil to create the sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed and stir-fry broccoli and bell pepper until tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and pour the sauce over the shrimp and vegetables. Toss to coat evenly and heat through.
- Stir in sliced green onions.
- Serve the honey garlic shrimp stir-fry over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds.
